Stalled plan?

I was delighted to read that market stalls would be appearing beside Edinburgh’s Waverley Station (your report, 24 March). I recall the people behind the controversial Caltongate plans had originally discussed turning the arches on the east of Market Street into some kind of arts quarter. Does anybody know if that idea is now dead and buried or if they are involved in the current experiment?
