Spoof

Having just watched an old episode of The New Statesman, the 1980s comedy spoof of the Thatcher era, I can't help seeing the roles being played out today with David Cameron and George Osborne starring as Alan B'stard and Piers Fletcher-Dervish. Having made that connection, I was then trying to relate the same comedy pairing to the Cameron and Clegg double act, but cannot find matches as good as those of Alan and Piers. Perhaps your readers may have other ideas?
