Months before tickets for all productions at the Edinburgh International Festival came on sale, Antigone, with Juliette Binoche, was presented as a special early buying option.

We bought; but that was before it had a season at the Barbican, a tour round England (to patchy reviews), a tour to three other countries in Europe and a showing on BBC4.
So much for a “centrepiece of the festival” – but we’ll just have to see for ourselves, I suppose.
