SNP posturing

I agree with Bill Jamieson (Opinion, 14 May) regarding the SNP. The way they and Alex Salmond have been posturing and behaving since the election, you would think that they had done well, and were speaking from a position of strength, when in fact their vote was barely above that of the Conservatives, which was a bad day for them.

Linked to this is their refusal to deal with the budget deficit – all in all, this is not the behaviour of a responsible party.
