SNP jumping gun

It is a bit rich for our First Minister to be offering support to Labour given that the SNP clearly aims to defeat Labour in as many of the seats they hold as they can at the general election.

Perhaps it would be better for her to wait till after the election by which time it should become clear how much damage they have done to Labour.

It may well be that they will have made it impossible for them to form the British
government.

Furthermore, Labour may not wish to do a deal with the SNP.

They have not been the best of buddies up until now.

The SNP would have us believe that Labour’s unpopularity stems from them supporting the Union along with the Tories.

However, for the majority of Scots retention of the Union is more important than party political differences.
