Smog warning

As someone who decided in 1977 not to learn to drive a car based on the then available evidence of the harmful effect of car pollution on people’s health, I was probably one of the few people to greet the recent falls in the price of petrol and diesel displayed at the garage forecourts throughout Scotland with a tut and “Oh ****, there goes the environment”.
