Silent minority

Your correspondent John Dorward (Letters, 27 November) laments a glossy communication received from his MSP.

He should count himself lucky. In this house, we had no communication whatsoever from our sitting MSP. Not an iota, not even during the referendum campaign.

Of course, a notification that he seeks re-election will be received before the next election.
