Selfish views

You published some worrying views about immigration (Letters and Scotsman.com View, 7 November). These correspondents should remember that foreign workers are often the ones who do the difficult, badly paid jobs that local people don’t want to do.

Perhaps your contributors can remind themselves of this next time they’re in a vulnerable condition and relying on the kindness of someone from another country.
