Self-respect wins

When you see all these
Commonwealth countries
participating in the Games you must note how many of them are independent. Their desire for independence has little to do with economics or party politics or personalities. It is simply a matter of self-respect.

No Englishman would want England to be ruled by a
Scottish government, so why are there Scots who want Scotland to be ruled by a London government that debases the currency, accumulates enormous debt, is almost continually at war with some other country and exploits the poor to enrich the wealthy?

The only explanation I can think of is that 300 years of
subservience have brainwashed them into thinking of Scotland as inferior.

I hope that at the next
Games, Scotland takes part as an independent country, like
Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, etc.
