Seeking attention

Your report (15 December) that men “switch off after six-minute chat” with their partners confounds me. I am a Welsh woman married to an Edinburgh Scot and therefore writing to inquire where I can meet the men surveyed.

In the study, apparently, these men give an entire six minutes of their undivided attention to a woman. That sounds like sheer bliss to me!
