Secularist humbug
Caroline Lynch of the Scottish Secular Society (Letters, 31 January) claims that the BBC’s “Thought for the Day” is “exclusionary proselytising”. My last contribution marked the centenary of the death of the missionary Mary Slessor, and celebrated her pioneering work on behalf of women and girls. “Exclusionary proselytising”? Bah! Secularist humbug!
