Science conundrum
Per capita, scientists in Scotland are cited more often than any other country except Switzerland (your report, 5 February).
So is it not disgraceful that, economically, we are languishing behind even Ireland?
In the same edition, you list the 50 most important people in Scotland. Not one scientist is listed so far.
