Saudi virtues

Alex Orr (Letters, 30 December) would have perhaps been better citing Norway as a paragon of virtue when it comes to an oil fund.

Saudi Arabia may have massive oil wealth and a superb infrastructure but does Mr Orr really want the public executions, denial of rights to women and migrants, a religious police, and support for Islamic terrorists that the oil fund helps support?
