Salmond’s drum

How dare Alex Salmond go to the United States of America beating his independence drum and suggesting that he is speaking for the people of Scotland – certainly not me and the thousands of others who did not vote for his party.

Apart from that, the Ryder Cup is a European/USA event and the fact that it is being held in Scotland in 2014 does not make it a Scottish competition.

It will still be a European/USA event and I am fairly sure that if we become independent we won’t see it here again as we won’t be part of Europe.
