Royal query

SuggestIONS made that the Queen should be the last royal head of the Commonwealth (“No role for Prince of Wales”, 13 July). So if Scotland become independent and a member of the Commonwealth (to honour the SNP’s pledge to keep the Queen as head of state), it might have no royal head of state after the Queen’s reign ends. Do the voters understand this?
