It is perhaps only fair and natural at this time of year that you should devote so much space to the deliberations of the Church of Scotland, despite the fact that membership now stands at 380,000 and falling.
The Church of Scotland in Scotland and south of the Border have, over the years, consistently shown themselves to be singularly out of touch with the rest of the population.
Around the world today there are terrible religious conflicts involving not only Christians but many other faiths.
Has the time now come to remove the privileged (daily) influence and teaching of Christianity from our state schools?
