Road to hell

The Scottish Government is telling motorists to think twice before they overtake another vehicle on the notorious A9 trunk road (your report, 28 February).

Many years ago I was given this advice: “Better to be late in this world than early in the next.”

Perhaps this could be adopted as a slogan for the A9.
