Revising chamber

Ian Templeton (Letters, 3 September) makes an interesting point about controlling political power at Holyrood, as we have no revising chamber – a laudable and much needed idea.

However, we have a leader who is going to dictate to Nato that we be allowed to join without meeting the entry requirements; dictate to the EU our membership when again we fall short of the entry requirements; and dictate to rUK that we use its currency and expect it (despite being a foreign country) to shore up our currency and if necessary bale out our banks.

This all-powerful Utopia he promises to deliver does not need a revising chamber.
