The European Union are playing a game of poker with Russia with very high stakes as president Putin’s homeland reputation is for being tough and decisive, which reflects his lasting popularity with the people.

It seems that the diplomatic hot line from president to president has been disconnected and negotiations are a thing of the past. This could prove to be very bad news for both parties.
