Pots and kettles

It is rare to read anything in a newspaper nowadays which makes me laugh out loud, but what a tonic it is when such a beauty crops up.

A splendid example came from an unlikely source, in yet another letter (4 June) from Stan Grodynski, in which he stated: “Of course, those who long ago stopped listening to objective and rational arguments will regrettably remain consumed with their own fictitious thinking.”

Pots and kettles have nothing on that one!
