Poor call

Perhaps the fine handed down to Harriet Harman for driving without due care and attention (in effect, poor parking) took into account the fact that she was reportedly using a mobile phone at the time (your report, 9 January). Many of us will be wondering why she wasn't booked for the phone incident separately, since anyone else caught driving while using a mobile phone will be prosecuted.
