Poll axed

I am tired of hearing of the SNP’s “landslide victory” and Mr Salmond’s view that “Scotland has spoken” in relation to the last election.

Edinburgh Parliament figures show that of the total electorate at the time (just over 3.95 million) only 902,915 voted SNP. Yes, it was only a pathetic turnout of roughly 50 per cent.
