Political ruins

What an absolutely abysmal spectacle the referendum debate between Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and Scottish Labour leader Johann Lamont on ITV on Tuesday night was.

There was a really unpalatable air of unpleasantness about it – very unattractive. It was extremely troubling, actually, given the positions of power these two women hold in Scottish politics.

It didn’t help that Rona Dougall had no control whatsoever, and was rendered an utterly hopeless chairperson by these two squabbling women.

Referendum “Special”? The Trade Descriptions Act might beg to disagree.
