Police VAT charge
The VAT charge to Police Scotland (your report, 26 November) may be undesirable; however, it was not “unforeseen”.
It was reported in the business case discussing the single and three-force options for change.
The business case was apparently largely authored by senior police officers.
Who read that business case is another matter.
