Point of view: Border

EUROPE minister Chris Bryant has claimed that if Scotland was independent, then it would be necessary to set up Border checkpoints to prevent foreigners using the country as a backdoor into England. He's got to be joking. Once England loses Scotland's oil wealth, the movement of foreigners will be from England into Scotland and they will be made very welcome.
