Plain facts

I AM sure that I am not alone in appreciating the irony, if not the brass neck and stupidity, of the tobacco industry, which is currently threatening to sue the government over the proposed laws to prevent cigarettes from being sold in anything other than plain packaging.

Has it not considered the possibility of counter-suits for the cost to the National Health Service for the countless deaths and illnesses caused over the years by its product?
