Peace dividend

Now that our country, thank God, has taken the road to peace, rather than war, it would be outstanding if the government were to calculate how many millions – if not billions – of pounds have been saved by not bombarding Syria with tonne upon tonne of high explosives designed to kill, maim and destroy – and use that money for humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the refugee children of that country.
