Pavement parker

Perhaps the solution to Barry Lees’ problem with pavement parkers (Letters, 10 March) is to carry a supply of notes indicating how easy it might be to deflate a car tyre.

Personally, I’ve never found it necessary to carry out the implied threat, although it may be wise to post a lookout while attaching such information to the offender’s windscreen.
