Passing phase

My ancestors came from what 1,000 years ago was the Kingdom of Strathclyde and probably spoke Cumbric (a Celtic language akin to Welsh).

I see no merit in dividing Great Britain again along the lines drawn up by rival Norman warlords, who divided a relatively peaceful part of the world and started 300 years of intermittent warfare just to satisfy what in the global turn of history is probably a passing phase.
