Party ego trip?

With more than 40 new
powers granted to the Scottish Government by the Smith Commission, plus those significant powers already transferred by the Coalition Government,
Scotland has become a state within a state.

There is more than enough new legislation there to keep the Scottish Government busy for decades, yet no sooner was the ink dry on the Smith Report than the SNP leaders demanded even more powers.

Do they really want to improve living conditions for the Scottish people or are they on an ego trip to gain power for the sake of power?

Even before Lord Smith published his report it had been rubbished by the nationalists. If David Cameron had offered them 100 tons of gold they would still find something to whinge about.

Let them get on with showing how well they can run the country instead of running down Britain.
