Park and ride

If Mr Roche from Coupar Angus, who had such trouble with the traffic into Edinburgh on a recent visit (Letters, 2 December) had continued on the M90 to the Newbridge junction instead of going to the crowded Barnton junction, and then parked his car without any cost at Ingliston Park and Ride,
he would have been able to take a tram (running every few
minutes) into the centre of
Edinburgh for probably the
lowest fares in the UK and taken 20 or 25 minutes for the
journey.
