Oil prices

With oil prices now having been on or below $50 for more than a year now, is it not time that bus fares, airline tickets and taxi fares all came down?

I accept that some companies buy their oil in advance, but with the price being so low for so long the cuts should be making their way to our pockets – unless, of course, obscene profit making is taking place.

Perhaps the First Minister might speak out – or is she too scared to flag up the collapse in the oil industry in case we all notice her case for independence is collapsing?
