As you reported (8 December), the integrity of the Star Flyer in Princes Street Gardens has been ensured.
The safety, however, of its position and operation leaves a lot to be desired.
When the open chairs are elevated and spinning they are directly over the Princes Street pavement, meaning any dropped object could hit a pedestrian.
The advice to riders to hang on to their belongings is not, in my opinion, sufficient to guarantee the safety of those below.
