YOU have reversed the decommissioning dates for Hunterston B and Torness power stations ("Positive reaction to shift in power", Business, 23 May); the former is now licensed until 2016 and the latter until 2023.

Also please note that, because "thermal" power stations (ie those that use heat to generate steam) include nuclear power stations, the distinction you make is false.
