No mandate
You report (28 May) that SNP Westminster leader Angus Robertson declared that David Cameron “does not have a mandate” north of the Border.
Mr Robertson has clearly either forgotten that the result of the independence referendum was that a substantial majority of Scottish people voted for Scotland to remain part of the United Kingdom, or he simply does not understand the political implications arising from Scotland being part of the United Kingdom.
