NHS24 letdown

With regards to the increased risk to babies born "out of hours" (your report, 17 July), since the inception of NHS24, we at the ages of 82 and 74 have requested help twice.

On both occasions it took several hours of telephoning and waiting before help arrived. Once it was too late to be effective.

Last Sunday our gas boiler was not producing hot water. At 10:30am we contacted the helpline and it was fixed before lunchtime.
