NHS Scotland

I was extremely disappointed in your article and failure to understand fundamental differences between the Scottish NHS and England and Wales (your report, 29 March). We have had no trusts in Scotland for at least five years.

You quote the NHS Security Management Service, which is part of the NHS south of the Border and does not put the 60,000 per annum in any context of Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS Board budget, which if I understand the 2008-9 annual accounts, would appear to be just over 2,000 million per annum.
