Patients will be able to "log on to a secure website to access their records, view test results and access their records from the home or office" under a new Patient Portal trial (your report, 8 April).

I am uneasy about the definition of office (presumably place of work, depending on contract of employment).

Ayshire has been selected for this trial, so presumably the results will take into account those who do not have internet access at either home or office.

As patients, we have learned to wait patiently.
