NHS crisis
In the north-east of Scotland thousands of patients are getting letters from the NHS telling of changed arrangements for local surgeries, which are bulging with increasing patient lists and forcing many to go to surgeries outwith their normal area.
It seems the stress and pressure associated with NHS paperwork and growing patient lists is making it difficult to attract new doctors, despite their excellent salaries, and forcing many older doctors into early retirement.
