Nativity gripes

People have always complained about Christmas decorations and advertisements starting too early in the year – and I don’t blame them.

Now the stories about school productions eschewing traditional nativity content (such as yours, 2 December) are starting to come out earlier and earlier.

Can we maybe have a moratorium, please?

I move that nobody is allowed to complain about pre-Christmas dramas performed in primary schools until the second week of December.
