Name the accuser

With regard to your front page headline: “Labour MP – ‘I’m terrified by threats from rogue nationalists’”(7 April), surely it is in the public interest that someone making this level of accusation should be named.

This seems a strange way of “protecting his staff”. Anyone else making an anonymous accusation that is worthy of headline coverage would usually be named by the press. Why not on this occasion?
