At this time of Remembrance, there is a parallel surely with the plight of the Conservative Party in Scotland.

What is the vision of the new leader, Ruth Davidson, to lead and inspire?

Will there be a slow attrition of what passes for the membership of the party and the still-birth of new support from individuals and business?

Scotland badly needs a new effective opposition party and the encouragement of business and I trust Murdo Fraser can find a way to achieve this.
