THE smug announcement by Jim Mather that he approved the wind farm on Lewis (Letters, 15 January) just adds to the list of eco-crimes committed by him. He talks repeatedly about Scotland's renewable potential without understanding the slightest thing about electricity generation. Quite simply he has a list of onshore wind farms he intends to approve, and once this is done he will brag about having achieved Scotland's renewable targets.
