Missing listings

As someone who has bought your newspaper for many years and has consistently enjoyed its editorial coverage, even if I don’t always agree with what is said, I bought your paper last weekend, looking at some of the changes you had made, with interest.

Most of them I really don’t have a problem with but one of them I did: your removal of the weekly TV schedules.

With the old adage – if it ain’t broke don’t try to fix it – why oh why did you get rid of the superb weekly TV pages you used to include in Saturday’s paper?

They were clear, concise and well laid out.

This is in direct contrast to what we now get, which looks ill-thought-out and squashed into the most minimal of
coverage.

I’m well aware that internet coverage means we all can look elsewhere for these guides but I used to enjoy looking ahead at what was going to happen here in Scotland. The Scotsman could always be relied upon to provide the correct detail. Now it doesn’t even bother.

Please consider bringing these back – I miss them already.
