Minority writes

YOUR correspondent (Letters, 24 May) alleges that there is some sort of conspiracy among contributors that gives an unbalanced view of public opinion on religious matters in Scotland. I am named as one such party, 
but I am generally of the view that The Scotsman exercises fair editorial balance.

If I have one complaint, it is that Richard Lucas, a fervent Christian, seems to have the record for getting letters published.

Perhaps Angus Logan, the complainant, should recognise that recent survey data shows Christians are now less than half the Scottish population.
