Make-up tips

I have an alternative take on
the make-up of the future
government of an independent Scotland.

If another SNP government is elected it will be payback time for the Britain Souters and other right-wing pressure groups who have supported and financed the SNP.

If the SNP does not win a clear majority, encouraged by its own tartan Tories, it might seek support from the 15 per cent of the electorate who voted Conservative in the last general election.

The Liberals, experienced coalitionists, might also join in and no doubt there would be some renegades from the Labour Party.

Scotland could be landed with a quasi-Conservative government for years but we’d all have the government we voted for.
