Ludicrous agenda

The latest advice to emerge from Equalities and Human Rights Commission (your report, 22 February) is surely the most pointless and ludicrous to appear so far. If this example concerning school-age females with "gender dysphoria" being expected to wear skirts rather than trousers is a sign of what is to come once this needless legislation is applied to schools, then we are indeed set for some truly breathtaking announcements.

Is society so deeply saturated with political correctness and liberal navel gazing that common sense has been rendered useless?

Organisations such as the EHRC should be disbanded immediately and the resources wasted on it devolved to some other, genuinely worthwhile, project.
