Lost time on A9

One of the reasons drivers speed on the A9 (your report, 10 July) is to make up time after having been stuck for 15 miles or so in a convoy of vehicles behind a lorry driving at 30mph.

Perhaps the police should spend more of their time getting crawling lorry drivers to pull over.
