Looking inward

OF course Edinburgh University is biased against southern English students. My son attends a comprehensive school and has applied to various Russell Group Universities; Edinburgh was the only rejection he received. Glasgow responded with an offer of a place very quickly as did Cardiff.

My son wishes to study modern languages which are not, generally, the most popular courses. Hopefully, in September, he will be joining the huge number of students from all types of backgrounds and locations at Glasgow University rather than the inward-looking Edinburgh University.
