Little Britain

Donald J MacDonald (Letters, 18 May) comments that President Barack Obama referred to David Cameron as "the Prime Minister of England". Unfortunately, that is a common misnomer used by many foreign nationals. What is less excusable is former Prime Minster Gordon Brown previously continually referring to himself as Prime Minister of Great Britain rather than of the UK.
